Redefining Travel Planning
PlanEase combines AI-powered itineraries, smart price comparisons, and seamless booking into a user-friendly platform. With customizable options for every budget, it makes planning trips effortless and uniquely tailored to each traveler’s needs.

Our design approach kept the user at the heart of every decision. Through iterative cycles of brainstorming, prototyping, and testing, we refined PlanEase’s interface for maximum usability. Close collaboration with our audience helped shape intuitive interactions, resulting in a smooth and engaging trip-planning experience.
After finalizing our blueprint, we sketched potential app flows and created wireframes in Figma. The five main screens, Explore, Plan a Trip, Reviews, Communities, and Profile, allow users to input preferences like location, dates, budget, and interests, with AI generating personalized trip packages. Using a horizontal layout, grayscale palette, and consistent typography, each team member designed a screen and added annotated notes explaining our design choices.

We evaluated the designs through user feedback and iterative testing to ensure usability, clarity, and a seamless experience across all screens.
Using the wireframes we created initially, we tested a few users to ensure we were on the right track and identify any areas that might be confusing or unintuitive. Feedback helped us spot friction points in navigation, layout, and feature placement. We iterated on these insights to refine interactions and improve clarity. This process ensured that the app would provide a smooth, user-friendly experience before moving to high-fidelity designs.

AI algorithms curate suggestions that match individual interests, creating anticipation and delight. At the same time, our visual design evokes the spirit of travel, using vibrant colors, engaging imagery, and intuitive icons. This cohesive visual language strengthens our brand identity and emotional connection with users. Together, personalization and design make every trip feel unique and inspiring.
